About the area
Costa Blanca North is located on the southeast coast of Spain, in the province of Alicante. This coastal strip is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in all of Spain. One of the aspects that characterizes this region is the microclimate that is created due to the geographical situation. From the town of Altea to the town of Villajoyosa, this area is surrounded and "protected" by several mountains, such as the Sleeping Lion, Puig Campana, Serra Gelada, and Serra Bernia. These mountains act as a barrier to prevent the winds from penetrating the coastal zone and as a result they soften the temperatures during the winter. It generally has a very varied and picturesque landscape, especially in the towns of Altea and Villajoyosa, where there are 2 old towns with a lot of history.
Here you will find white sand beaches such as in Benidorm or Villajoyosa, rocky beaches such as in Altea, and beaches with a combination of stone and sand such as Albir.
In addition, Costa Blanca has many Natural Parks that stretch along the coast. The Costa Blanca is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean.

This area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. Theme park lovers will also enjoy it here, since in Benidorm we have Terra Mítica theme park, Aqualandia and Terra Natura water parks, and Mundomar marine and wild fauna park. Amusement parks, zoos and water parks alike guarantee entertainment for the whole family. In addition, water sports lovers can also enjoy activities such as surfing, cable-skiing in Benidorm, jet skis, kayaking, paddle surfing... even diving!
